Dedication

Mark was dedicated to the Lord on July 27th. It was a really special day for us and Mark seemed to enjoy all of the attention. Our pastor really does some neat dedications talking about what each parent has learned since becoming a parent and what new things they appreciate about their spouse. He mentionned that Mark got his hair style from his dad....everyone always gets a kick out of that. Mark of course had his typical "deer in the headlight" look. I bet a lot of the church thought he was just surprised to be held up in the air in front of everyone..little do they know he always has that look!

Getting ready that morning Mark really seemed to get a kick out of his fancy new polo outfit. He thought he was something else! Of course with me squeeling about how cute he is and snapping pictures, you'd probably grin too!

We were so grateful that so much of our family was able to make it to the dedication. Its nice to have so many people in town who love and support Mark. We all went out to a nice brunch after church and Mark showed off how he can get rice cereal EVERYWHERE.

I had to include this because we kind-of have an inside the family joke about how no one can get Mark away from his Grammy. She knows about this joke...but it doesn't seem to change her behavior!! She sure loves her Mark Thomas!
