I'm a Rock Star!

Hey - did I mention we saw a moose on the side of the road in Winter Park? Here he is!

This week is Homecoming at Mark's new little school so the its called "Spirit Week" and each day has a special dress up theme. Well, loser mom here forgot to take pictures except for one day. But Monday was pajama day. It was hysterical to show up and see all the kids playing on the playgroud with socks and shoes on in their pj's! Mark especially cracked me up since he wears the tight fitted pj's. He had on striped bottoms and a green shirt with a penguin on it and of course, his tennis shoes. Looked funny - too bad you don't get to see it!

Tuesday was Rock Star Day and Mark wore a black rock star looking shirt and did his hair extra-spikey. See below. I forget how handsome he is because I'm usually too busy trying to find a discipline strategy that works! And today was Fashion Disaster (or mix match) Day. He wore two different tennis shoes, two different socks, hideous green, brown, and yellow plaid shorts, and a black batman t-shirt. I didn't let him out of the house when we got home cause he looked like an orphan! Again, no pics, sorry.

Mark also got a new rain jacket the other day. He likes it cause it comes with a little stuff bag. Poor kid - I'm being a real miser lately with money so I keep buying him things he can grow into - he always looks like he's wearing hand-me-downs! Its just that he wears a size 4T, but in the children's section a size 4 is bigger than a 4t. And size small is 4-6. I don't want to buy an extra small that he may fit into for another month and thats it! Wow - so far this blog is super boring!

And now, the princess. Squash is sooo good.

Go Broncos!

She had flushed cheeks one morning which really made those blue eyes shine!

I sing her "She's my little K-K" to the tune of "I'm a little teapot" when I get her out of the bath. I look super cheesy in this pic, but isn't she cute in her piggy towel?
And yes, the real reason for the blog update! Her 6 month bear rug shot! She's a long string bean for sure! She weighs 15 lbs and is 26 inches long. She really looks like one of my baby pictures in this shot - don't you think Mom?

I believe we were on the phone when you saw the big moose...too funny. Mark is so handsome and love the hair product in his hair...bet that took some shampoo to get all that out. Kate is a little you. Funny that both Kate and Lillian look like more like their moms...great blog entry for Kate's 6-month bear rug shot.
