Mark had his 4 month doctor visit today and as you can see he weighed in at 15lbs 8 oz. I guessed he weighed between 15-16lbs but he sure feels a lot heavier than that! In fact, I did Tae-Bo for the first time in a year the other day and my arms weren't sore afterwards which I thought was strange considering my rear and thighs hurt so bad I had to practically fall onto the toilet everytime I had to pee! Lisa said it was probably because my upper body got worked out everyday lifting Mark...especially in that darn carrier! Anyway, the doctor visit went well...up until the shots part. I mananged to hold it together and not cry this time. Mark cried of course but at least he didn't hold his breath like the last time!
He loves to stand up and is usually pretty darn proud of himself as you can see from his huge grin. John is concerned because Mark curls his toes under everytime he stands up but you would too if you were teetering on a pillow!
This picture was on Memorial Day. We were both wearing navy blue so I thought it was a good photo opportunity! Plus my mother always complains that I'm not in enough pictures!
The other day Mark took one of his long three hour afternoon naps and I think the only reason he woke up was that he peed so much his diaper started leaking. He was in a very good mood when he woke up and I told him that since he got his blanket and sheet all wet that I would just wrap him up and wash him in the washer too...which he thought was very funny. Its hard to tell how big he's smiling since he has his hand and blanket stuffed in his mouth gnawing on them!
